class of 2014, from either Drake Har- ris or Maurice Ways. At times in the spring, the 6-4, 180-pound Harris was the most im- pressive receiver on the field, but he didn't practice the final week under precaution of a hamstring injury that had shelved him for the entirety of his high school senior season. "It's getting a little better. I'm re- habbing it. It's nothing too major," said Harris, calmly. "It's pretty frustrating, but I played the whole spring, learned a lot. I just have to stay focused and keep positive." If Harris returns to health in time for fall camp, and survives the grueling three-week stretch leading up to game week, he could definitely be an asset. "I have good hands. I can stretch the field. I'm a pretty big receiver," he said. Ways did not enroll early, but had he joined Canteen and Harris in Ann Arbor for the spring semester, he might be slotted ahead of them on the depth chart. Instead, he will ar- rive in June with the rest of his class- mates that didn't enroll early and will strive to force his way into one of the vacant roles. ❏ Highlights From Michigan's Spring Game The Wolverines made their final spring practice open to the public April 5, and that practice in- cluded a 50-minute s i t u a t i o n a l s c r i m - mage.
