perfect sales pitch from the university.
"It just shows how you have to be a
certain level prospect for Notre Dame
to even have an interest in you," he
said. "They do a great job of showing
the tradition they have with academics
and football. It doesn't get any better

Now that his recruitment has com-
pleted, Tiassum — who lists pickup
basketball and golf as his primary
hobbies off the football field — has
begun a new recruiting process: con-
vincing four-star Indianapolis outside
linebacker Asmar Bilal to commit to
Notre Dame as well. Bilal is the No.
159 overall player and No. 3 inside
linebacker in the nation, and the No. 2
prospect from Indiana according to
247Sports. Notre Dame is considered
the favorite to land Bilal, with Michi-
gan also competing in what is likely a
two-school race.
"He's about 10 minutes from me,"
Tiassum said. "Recruiting him is big.
If we can get him, our linebacker corps
would be unstoppable the next three
or four years. That's what I'm focus-
