BASKETBALL RECRUITING times, but he's been to Michigan twice and has U‑M up there near the top, with Duke emerging as a threat. Leaf averaged 26.0 points and 11.5 rebounds per game last season. Arizona, UCLA, Florida and Xavier joined Michigan in visiting Leaf the week of Sept. 8. He'll take unofficial visits to Florida Oct. 10 and Duke Oct. 25, and plans to take a February official to U‑M and to make a deci‑ sion shortly thereafter. JAMAL MURRAY, PG 6-3, 180 Kitchener (Ontario) Athlete Institute Rivals.com's No. 20 junior nationally Murray holds offers from Florida State, Michigan State, Ohio State, Il‑ linois, Virginia and others. U‑M as‑ sistant Jeff Meyer has been following him for some time and is leading the charge on his recruitment. There was talk at one point that he might re‑ classify to 2015, but he hasn't at this point, and Michigan appears to be targeting him for 2016. He is extremely high on Michigan and is the best player on a loaded Atlanta Celtics AAU squad. He has no timetable and will likely visit Missouri between now and the end of the school year. There are six or seven others he'll look try to look at in the fall, doing his homework in paring his list, but U‑M has a good shot. CASSIUS WINSTON, PG 6-0, 165 Detroit U-D Jesuit Rivals.com's No. 35 junior nationally Michigan State, Iowa, Iowa State and others have offered, but most still believe Winston's services may be a two‑horse race between the in‑ state schools, and the Wolverines have made a move. Winston has now been on the U‑M campus five times in the last three months or so, including an
