Plus, the Wolverines came away somewhat deflated when they pulled points from neither drive, because of missed field goals. After that, Michi- gan's offensive game featured a se- ries of issues that put them in bad down-and-distance situations, and fifth-year senior quarterback Devin Gardner's four second-half turnovers resulted in some degree from trying to press the issue.
