Recruiting Notes With the recruiting process moving much faster these days, Notre Dame has already extended 60 scholarship offers to recruits from the class of 2016. Blue & Gold Illustrated takes a look at three junior prospects that hold offers from the Irish. • Notre Dame is the latest school to offer North Ridgeville (Ohio) High four-star running back Demario McCall. The 5-11, 180-pounder now holds offers from the Irish, Ohio State, Michigan State, Michigan, Tennessee and many others. McCall made his first visit to South Bend for the Notre Dame-Stanford game Oct. 4. The Irish are very much in the mix for the junior standout, but Ohio State is the perceived favorite. He first picked up an offer from the Buckeyes in May, camped in Columbus in June and July, and then returned for two unof- ficial visits in September.
