ND SPORTS omore forward Taya Reimer and the "Mable" guard combination of senior Madison Cable and junior Michaela Mabrey, who are basically co‑starters. The Irish will host Ferris State for an exhibition game Nov. 5. FIVE-STAR PROSPECT COMMITS TO NOTRE DAME The Irish recruiting juggernaut, which has almost annually landed a national top‑five or top‑10 prospect since 2009, continued that trend for 2015 with the Oct. 24 verbal commit‑ ment from Milwaukee native and 5‑9 point guard Arike Ogunbowale. The senior at Divine Savior Holy Angels took an official visit to Notre Dame for the Sept. 6 Notre Dame‑ Michigan football game and chose the Irish over UCLA and Ohio State. A five‑star prospect, Ogunbowale is ranked as the No. 10 overall player in the ESPN HoopGurlz Top 100 for the 2015 class. She is the third high school senior, all guards, to verbally pledge to the Irish prior to the Nov. 12‑19 early signing period. Joining her is Indiana's 5‑10 Ali Patberg (No. 14 according to HoopGurlz) and New Jersey's Marina Mabrey (No. 26), the younger sister of current Irish junior guard Michaela Mabrey. Ogunbowale is a three‑time gold medalist with USA Basketball and back‑to‑back Gatorade Player of the Year in Wisconsin. She averaged 22.7 points and 12.3 rebounds per game as a junior, and 20.4 points and 9.6 re‑ bounds per contest as a sophomore. ✦ 1-800-421-7751 • www.BlueGoldOnline.com Notre Dame "Eglomise" Framed Print $59.95 FREE S&H* Notre Dame "Eglomise" style digital photos reproduce the transparency effect of an image reverse-painted on glass.
