2015 RECRUITING ISSUE BY MATT CARTER Kettering (Ohio) Archbishop Al- ter High head coach Ed Domsitz has coached more than his fair share of blue- chip prospects, including Notre Dame sophomore quarterback Malik Zaire. Domsitz has a good understanding of the adjustments involved with jumping from the Greater Catholic North Con- ference to the highest level of college football, and he is confident that Notre Dame signee and likely corner Nick Coleman can handle them. There are at least three reasons why. One is the makeup of Coleman him- self. "He's one of those guys whose al- ways has a smile on his face," Domsitz described. "He works hard whether it's in the weight room in the offseason or during the season on the field. He acts like he genuinely enjoys being there at practice. Some kids, it's a struggle for them. That's not the way it is for Nick. "What his personality will allow him to do is avoid being frustrated," Dom- sitz continued. "I think he is going to fit in well with the kids up there. He's just a bright guy. He's the kind of kid that will do well in just about any setting." Another reason why Domsitz be- lieves in Coleman is his talent level. Coleman played both ways last year, rushing for 1,125 yards and 13 scores on offense while compiling 48 tackles and Nick colemaN is Poised For success at Notre dame Coleman, who made 48 tackles and intercepted three passes during his senior campaign, is rated as a three-star recruit and the No. 63 cornerback in the country by Rivals.com.
