INSIDE MICHIGAN ATHLETICS Getting To Know Men's Swimming And Diving Junior Dylan Bosch Men's swimming and diving junior Dylan Bosch is as decorated as any athlete currently on Michigan's campus. He is an NCAA champion in the 200-yard but- terfly (2014), a six-time NCAA All-American and a three-time Big Ten champion in the 200-yard butterfly. He also recently helped lead Michigan to its fifth straight Big Ten title. A native of South Africa, Bosch has a long list of achievements in the pool, but swimming wasn't actually his first love. Bosch recently took some time to talk to The Wolverine. Nickname: "'Dyl Pickle' I'd say. It was actually given to me by Keenen Robinson. He was our trainer a couple of years ago, but he's back now working with Michael Phelps at NBAC [North Baltimore Aquatic Club]." Favorite restaurant in Ann Arbor: "Oh man, there are so many. I'd probably go with Frita Batidos. They have good burgers and good fries, nice thick bacon too." Best meal he can cook by himself: "I don't do a lot of cooking, but a couple of summers ago I lived with two of my teammates and I told them I'd cook this big dinner. I made lemon chicken with some rice and green beans for them. It turned out to be pretty good, so that's what I'm known for now if I ever cook." Bosch, an NCAA champion in the 200-yard butterfly, played cricket and rugby while he was growing up in South Africa. PHOTO COURTESY MICHIGAN ATHLETIC MEDIA RELATIONS
