• I am sure Jack Miller sees this as a
time where he is presented a crossroad
after being on a very exciting but tax-
ing and grueling road for four years (if
you count Michigan football only, but
really high level high school football
can be part of that road too). On the
point of the crossroads, one road goes
for the rest of his life and he inevitably
has to take that road. It will be different,
it will have a different type of demand,
it will involve possibly a family, perhaps
a business but certainly work in some
form. The other road is one year, has
a lot more physically demanding ter-
rain, and it is a road he has taken for
four years already so he is familiar with
the demands and toll it will take. It also
leads back to the road aforementioned.
Not an easy decision. Certainly great
points can be made for either decision.
It comes down to the man, what he
sees before him, as well as what he sees
inside. I'm sure Jack struggled with it for
a long time, but taking it for face value
it shows a lot of maturity and in my
opinion is an example of what is occur-
ring more and more in football.
As a high level football player, it is
such an incredibly taxing endeavor to
take on, if there is not an end goal that
lights up your soul, makes you jump
