COMMITMENT PROFILE ing Day 2016. That will end a drought for the Wolverines in landing top re- cruits from their home state's most talented high school — and could help with future Technicians, as well. — Tim Sullivan FILM EVALUATION Strengths: Onwenu's strength is the most valuable and impressive part of his game at this point. He's got a nice punch when he uses his hands. You can see the defender jolt when he lands his blow to the target. He's got nice quickness in the box and can adjust on the move fairly well. I really like his posture when he pass blocks. His head is back over his hips and he uses his power while maintaining good balance during pass protection. Areas of Improvement: Weighing north of 330 pounds is too much for any offensive lineman in my view. He will improve his movement skills, his power will be sustainable to last the entire game and he'll be better overall when he gets his conditioning in order. Onwenu can take his game to the next level once he gets into better shape and increases his aggression to finish blocks. Michigan Player Comparison: Joe Cocozzo (1989-92) was as big as a grizzly and just as mean as one, too. "The Bear" had power and strength that made him an All-American at Michigan and a third-round draft choice in the 1993 NFL Draft. Onwenu has the raw skills to have a similar game and career. — Analysis by former All-Big Ten offensive lineman Doug Skene
