COMMITMENT PROFILE FILM EVALUATION Strengths: Bredeson is a bull at the point of attack, able to manhandle the player across the line from him. He's also more than willing to bury that player in the dirt when the opportunity presents itself. He has a mean streak in the trenches. He also shows very good feet in pass protection and the wingspan to close off the outside, which prevents defensive ends from trying to cut back to the interior. He keeps his feet under him in his pass-set, rather than reaching, and is never caught off-balance. Areas of Improvement: The biggest transition for Bredeson to the college level will be the strength of competition faced. While Wisconsin is known for producing decent linemen, the week-in, week-out grind will be much more severe in the Big Ten. He will also have to adjust his technique for a likely role on the inside. He has shown the feet on the edge that should allow him to pull as a guard, but get- ting reps will be the only way to fully prepare. Michigan Player Comparison: Adam Stenavich (2001-05) is a fellow Wiscon- sin native who had the size to play tackle but the build to play guard. He was also a tough player in the trenches like Bredeson, and was part of offensive lines that this incoming group should strive to emulate. — Analysis from TheWolverine.com
