BASKETBALL RECRUITING rebounds and five blocked shots for his team a year ago, but Park Tu- dor head coach Kyle Cox said he expects him to play an even bigger role in 2015-2016. He shined at the MSU team camp recently, SpartanMag.com re- ported. " H e ' s h a v i n g a great summer," Cox said. "He had a great spring with his AAU team. He's been ter- rific rebounding and on the defensive end. He is as good as it gets as far as altering shots. His offense is still picking up. "He can shoot the three. He can drive from the wing. He can play in the pick-and-roll. He is a multi-faceted player." Jackson holds scholarship offers from Georgetown, Indiana, Illinois, Butler, Purdue, Vanderbilt and oth- ers. Some are still trying to project his position — he's still growing — but U-M is recruiting him as a multi- positional player, Jackson said. He has visited Indiana twice and also been to Illinois, and will form a list in December. Las Vegas Desert Pines small for- ward Greg Floyd, meanwhile, is "only" a Rivals' three-star prospect, but that's about to change. The 6-8, 200-pounder holds offers from Ari- zona, Cal, UNLV, Virginia and sev- eral others, and is high on Michigan's list following an early June visit after his participation at the Michigan Col- lege Practice Camp. He recently participated at the first-ever Under Ar- m o u r A l l - A m e r i c a Camp Powered by Ri- vals.com in Charlotte, N.C., and impressed with his potential. "Floyd's game still appeared to be a bit raw at some moments during the camp, but overall, he dripped with potential," Ri- vals national bas- ketball analyst Eric Bossi wrote. "The slender wing showed off a smooth shoot- ing stroke that could make him a big-time prospect on the West Coast down the road." Floyd showed similar skills at the Michigan camp. Beilein let Floyd know following the unofficial visit just how inter- ested he was. "That lets me know they're look- ing at me, and I'm proud," Floyd said. "Coach Beilein is a nice guy and great to be around. He's someone that I'm looking forward to recruit- ing me." ❏ On The Web For regular reports on basketball recruiting, plus videos of all the top prospects in the nation and Michigan's commitments, visit TheWolverine.com.
