MICHIGAN BASKETBALL • The Wolverines lead the all-time series with Delaware State 5-0. DSU scored just 15 points in the second half, the first time Michigan had limited an oppo- nent to 15 or fewer in a half since Cleveland State scored 14 in the first half of a game in 2012. • Delaware State shot a mere 24 percent from the field against Michigan. That's the lowest of any foe since USC Upstate connected on 22.2 percent of its shots in a 66-35 Michigan victory in 2010. • The Wolverines achieved a season-low seven turnovers in the win over DSU. Sophomore forward Ricky Doyle scored a season-high 10 points in that contest, while redshirt sophomore Duncan Robinson earned his first start as a Michigan player, notching 11 points and four assists, tying a season high with the lat- ter. Junior forward Zak Irvin grabbed a season-best eight rebounds, and sophomore wing Kam Chatman scored a season-high 10 points. • Michigan notched a 77-62 win over Northern Kentucky Dec. 15, marking the first-ever meeting between the two schools in basketball. • Senior guard Caris LeVert drew warranted attention in the Wolverines' win over N o r t h e r n K e nt u c k y, s co r - ing his 1,000th career point while recording his first-ever triple-double: 13 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists, the latter a career high. LeVert became the fourth Wolverine to post a triple-double, along with Darius Morris in 2011, Manny Harris in 2009 and Gary Grant in 1987. He is also the 49th Wolverine to hit the 1,000-point mark. • Robinson managed six three-pointers against North- ern Kentucky, his career high with the Wolverines. Junior Junior point guard Derrick Walton Jr. became just the fifth Michigan player in program history to post a triple-double during the Wolverine's 105-46 home win over Youngstown State Dec. 19.
