  MICHIGAN BASKETBALL center Mark Donnal scored a season-high 11 points. • Junior guard Derrick Walton Jr. became only the fifth Michigan player ever — but the second in back-to-back games — to record a triple-double in Michigan's 105-46 win over Youngstown State at Crisler Center Dec. 19. Walton notched 10 points, 11 rebounds and 13 assists in the contest. • The Wolverines went to 5-0 all time against Youngstown State with the vic- tory. The Wolverines recorded a season-low six turnovers, while sophomore wing Aubrey Dawkins connected for a season-high 19 points. Redshirt fresh- man forward D.J. Wilson scored a career-high 12 points in the final six minutes of the game. • Michigan boosted its all-time record against Bryant to 2-0 in a 96-60 win at Crisler Center Dec. 23. The Wolverines connected on an all-time program-high 17 three-pointers in the runaway victory. • The Wolverines scored 57 points in the first half against Bryant, a season high for a half. Robinson managed six assists, tying a career high. • Donnal started off the Big Ten season in amazing fashion Dec. 30, establish- ing career highs in points (26), rebounds (nine), blocks (three) and minutes played (28) during Michigan's 78-68 win at Illinois. The win gave the Wolverines victories in 10 of their last 11 games against the Fighting Illini. • Michigan moved to 32-12 in the all-time series with Penn State following a 79-56 win over the Nittany Lions at Crisler Center Jan. 2. The Wolverines have won four straight games over Penn State. • LeVert missed the Penn State game with what was described as a "lower-leg injury." • Junior forward Zak Irvin connected on a season-best four three-pointers in Michigan's win over the Nittany Lions. Robinson tied his career high with six assists. • Sophomore guard Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman scored a career-high 25 points at Purdue Jan. 27, but it wasn't enough to prevent the Boilermakers from recording an 87-70 win. • Michigan's 70-67 win over No. 3 Maryland at Crisler Center Jan. 12 marked a huge breakthrough against big-time opponents. It's the Wolverines' first victory against a team ranked in the nation's top three since the Wolverines beat No. 3 Duke 81-73 in 1997. • Irvin connected for a season-high 22 points in the victory over the Terrapins. He shot 8 of 14 from the field, while making good on half of his six three-point attempts. • Michigan's 82-71 loss at Iowa Jan. 17 marked U-M's third straight defeat in Iowa City. The Wolverines last won there in 2011, requiring overtime to knock off the Hawkeyes, 75-72.
