M ichigan softball head coach Carol Hutchins enters the Big Ten Tournament sport- ing 1,476 career victories. That's more than any college softball coach has ever secured. It's also more wins than any Michigan coach, in any sport, at any time, ever accumulated. Hutchins' No. 2-ranked Wolverines clinched their ninth consecutive Big Ten title by sweeping Rutgers May 6-8 in a three-game series by a combined score of 28-2. From April 12 to May 8, Michigan outscored its opponents 124-14.
