The Wolverines Are Eyeing
Many Class Of 2018 Standouts

M
ichigan has only one class
of 2017 pledge to date, but
the coaches are off to an
early start — as always
— in identifying prospects from the
sophomore class. One, Indianapolis
North Central's Kevin Easley Jr., is
the early favorite to get the class off
to a good start.
Only a three-star for the time being,
the 6-6 combo forward and George
Hill Rising Stars AAU standout has
an impressive list of offers that in-
cludes Indiana, Purdue, Butler, Notre
Dame, Xavier, Temple, Cincinnati and
others.
U-M, though, appears to be head
and shoulders above the competi-
tion. Head coach John Beilein saw
him play against rival Indianapolis
Lawrence Central during the season
and was on hand again in April to
watch him work out.
