ive years ago, Graham Glasgow
was a walk-on offensive lineman
from Aurora, Ill. Three years ago, he
made his first career start at center,
in a 2013 contest against Minnesota.
On April 29, after making 37 starts
in his career and earning All-Big Ten
honorable mention distinction in
2015, Glasgow became the first of
three Wolverines selected in the 2016
NFL Draft, going in the third round
to the Detroit Lions, 95th overall.
The 31st Wolverine drafted all time
by the Lions franchise and the first
Michigan player for the organiza-
tion since offensive tackle Jeff Backus
was a first-round pick in the 2001
draft, Glasgow is also the first for-
mer walk-on from U-M to be selected
since quarterback Brian Griese in the
1998 NFL Draft.
