  OLYMPIC SPORTS with 13 assists … Junior attacker Jess Angerman is the third 100-point scorer in program history and added 20 goals and 10 assists this season. ROWING The No. 10 Wolverines competed against six nationally ranked crews and won eight races at the 20-team Clem- son Invitational April 16-17 … Each U-M varsity crew earned a victory in the three-session event, including a sweep from the second varsity four … U-M honored the team's five athletes in their final year of eligibility on Senior Day by sweeping all four varsity races against Louisville and Michigan State April 30 … Michigan entered the Big Ten Cham- pionships May 14-15 as the second- highest ranked team in the conference, trailing only No. 3 Ohio State. SOFTBALL (44-4 OVERALL, 21-2 BIG TEN) The No. 2 Wolverines finished the regu- lar season with a sweep against Rutgers May 5-7 … They topped the Big Ten standings for their ninth regular-season conference championship in a row and 19th in program annals … U-M swept the final five Big Ten series and won its last 17 regular-season tilts, outscoring their competition by a total of 136-21 during that time … Senior pitcher Sara Driesenga completed the regular season 20-0 with a 2.26 ERA, while junior Megan Betsa went 22-3 with a 2.05 ERA and 236 strikeouts in 140 innings pitched … The conference tournament was slated to start May 13, while NCAA Regionals begin May 20 with the Women's College World Series set for June 2-8. MEN'S TRACK AND FIELD Freshman Alasgar Mammedov won the high jump at the Don Kleinow Invitational April 16 by clearing 1.98 meters; he set a personal best of 2.05 meters April 30 … At the same event, freshman Andrew Liskowitz — who was competing unattached — threw the shot put 18.30 meters to win the meet and qualify for the U.S. Junior Outdoor Track and Field Championships this summer … Redshirt freshman Joe El- lis had a strong showing at the Bobcat Classic, setting a personal best in the hammer throw with a heave of 66.06 meters to improve his No. 2 all-time mark in program annals and finish as the top collegian at the meet … Se- nior co-captain Mason Ferlic clocked an NCAA-best and personal record of 8:28.77 in the steeplechase May 1 at the Payton Jordan Invitational … The Big Ten Outdoor Championships are set for May 13-15 before NCAA Preliminaries May 26-28 and the NCAA Champion- ships June 8-11. WOMEN'S TRACK AND FIELD Senior co-captain Cindy Ofili won the 100-meter hurdles at the Mount SAC Relays April 16 in an NCAA-best 12.66 seconds, the No. 2 clocking in the world this year at the time and her season best by nearly half a second … Afterwards, Ofili became the first Wolverine and one of the 10 women who appeared on the Bowerman Watch List; the award is annually presented to the best col- lege men's and women's track and field athlete in the land … Although she is redshirting to prepare for the Olym- pics, junior Erin Finn hit the USA Olym-
