COMMITMENT PROFILE several positions on offense, rushing 43 times for 231 yards (5.4 per carry) and six touchdowns, and catching 24 passes for 416 yards and nine scores. Mason credits his success in high school to his work ethic and effort. "I try as hard as I can on every play," he said. "You're going to get someone who's going to give full force on every play. I'm a big guy, I'm fast and I'm just going to try hard every opportunity I get. "The biggest thing [I'm improving] is that everyone can always get better and faster feet. I'm just going to con- tinue to work on that, as I have been this offseason." Mason checks just about every box for the Michigan coaching staff. While he has room to improve in pass defense, he has accomplished plenty at the high school level and will bring that production to college. Like he's the right fit for Michigan, U-M also nailed his top two criteria as a university and football program. "I just want top-level academics and top-level football," he said suc- cinctly. "That's it." Mason became the 12th commit- ment in Michigan's 2017 class and the second linebacker, along with local legacy Joshua Ross, who will follow his older brother James from Orchard Lake (Mich.) St. Mary's to Ann Ar- bor. Nine states are represented on the Wolverines' list of pledges (though running back AJ Dillon is a fellow Connecticut native, he plays his high school football in Massachusetts), with only Michigan providing more than a single pledge to its home school. 1-800-421-7751 • www.TheWolverineOnDemand.com Michigan Cornhole & Tower Tumble Each cornhole game set comes with two 24"x48" ACA regulation size boards with folding 2x4 legs.
