MICHIGAN RECRUITING prospects. Michigan, Notre Dame, and Ohio State are among his early offers. Carman has already visited Ann Arbor once, for the U-M spring game April 1. Hightstown (N.J.) Peddie School wide receiver Jahan Dotson is a 6-0, 160-pounder whose sophomore high- light reel is one of the most impressive in the country. Alabama, Miami and Texas A&M are among U-M's early competition, but Penn State could be the biggest threat for a prospect who hails from eastern Pennsylvania but will play his final two years of high school ball in New Jersey. Indianapolis Cathedral offensive lineman Emil Ekiyor has visited Mich- igan multiple times already, though Tennessee, Ohio State and Notre Dame have been even more consistent desti- nations for him. The 6-4, 315-pounder is a true offensive guard prospect, and a good one. Ramsey (N.J.) Don Bosco Prep de- fensive end Tyler Friday has yet to visit Michigan, but the 6-3, 260-pounder has plenty of friends from area schools — including Paramus (N.J.) Catholic, one of Bosco's biggest rivals and one of Michigan's best source of elite talent in recent years — connecting him to the U-M program. Friday plans to visit campus this summer. Las Vegas Bishop Gorman line- backer Palaie Gaoteote is a native of Hawaii, but playing at a burgeoning national powerhouse has seen him build a huge national offer list that includes Nebraska, UCLA and USC. The 6-2, 210-pounder plans to take his first visit to Michigan in the summer. Detroit Cass Tech cornerback Kalon Gervin won't have to wait to see Mich- igan, since he plays his high school 2017 Michigan Commitment List Player Pos. Ht. Wt.
