The goalie finished with a record of 24-8-7, and boosted his numbers during the NAHL playoffs, when he notched a 1.89 goals-against average and a .926 save percentage. At age 17, LaFontaine went 20-6-0 for the Georgetown Raiders of the Ontario Junior Hockey League.
