Chris Peace, and redshirt first‑years Ste‑ ven Wright and Naji Abdullah. Wilkins' main backups appear to be fourth‑year An‑ dre Miles‑Redmond and redshirt freshman James Trucilla. In addition, the Cavaliers brought in for‑ mer Arizona State offensive lineman Jack Powers, who the staff recruited to play de‑ fensive line when they were at BYU. He has two years of eligibility remaining. TOP IMPACT FIRST-YEARS 1. Wide Receiver Joe Reed — Consider‑ ing the talent that UVA lost from last year's roster, the Wahoos will need a big boost at wide receiver. Though Reed wasn't a highly rated guy coming out of Charlotte Court House, Va., the 6‑2, 200‑pounder is a big‑time athlete who played a variety of positions as a senior last season. He brings a college‑ready body as well as standout athleticism to the position. 2. Wide Receiver Hasise Dubois — An‑ other big‑time athlete at wide receiver, the 6‑3 New Jersey native was one of UVA's most highly recruited signees in the class of 2016. Dubois has superb route‑running skills as well as very good hands that will allow him to make a serious bid for early playing time. 3. Safety Jordan Mack — Menden‑ hall has said that he wants true first‑years to come to school prepared to play early, which could mean a guy like Mack sees some playing time to prepare him for a larger role going forward. At 6‑3 and nearly 200 pounds, the Peach State native is the type of longer, athletic defensive back that made Mendenhall's defenses tough to beat during his time in Provo, Utah. 4. Defensive End Christian Baumgard- ner — A January enrollee, the former three‑ star recruit was originally evaluated as a tight end, but has settled in at defensive end thus far. At 6‑4, 230 pounds, the New Jersey native brings plenty of athleticism and size to a position that is hurting for depth. 5. Defensive End/Outside Linebacker Juwan Moye — One of several pros‑ pects that could end up at defensive end or outside linebacker in this class, the 6‑3, 230‑pounder Lilburn, Ga., native has the body and skill set to challenge for early time. Coincidentally, the staff will look to Moye and fellow Peach State signee Rob‑ ert Snyder, a 6‑3, 215‑pound outside line‑ backer/defensive end to provide much needed depth. TOP QUESTION MARKS ENTERING FALL 1. Who will be the starting quarter- back? Though so much has changed for the Cavaliers, one constant going into fall camp will be uncertainty at quarterback. UVA returns two‑year starter Matt Johns as well as fellow fourth‑year Conner Brewer, who competed to a draw in the spring. But shortly after spring ball wrapped, the staff brought in former ECU transfer Kurt Benkert, a 6‑3, 230 pounder who was in line to be the Pirates starter before a knee injury ended his 2015 season before it began. A dual‑threat QB, Benkert appears to have the type of game to fit nicely with what the offensive staff featured during its time at BYU. Head coach Bronco Mendenhall has said that the open competition will continue into the fall with no clear timetable on when he'd like to choose a starter. 2. How will the depth on the lines hold
