The main rival of the Giants in the Na- tional League West are the Los Angeles Dodgers, and that is where former Virginia standout infielder Chris Taylor found him- self after he was traded by Seattle to the Dodgers in June. "It has been really exciting," Taylor said before a game against the Nationals in Washington. "It seems like a really good group in the few weeks I have been here. It has been an awesome experience. The staff and players have been great." Taylor, who also spent some time in Tri- ple-A Oklahoma City with the Dodgers, has been a key backup at short to Rookie of the Year candidate Corey Seager.
