If he had the chance to sit down next to himself that September afternoon and watch the Pirates face UF, the message he would deliver to his former self would be clear. "You have no idea where you're going to be 12 months from now, but it's going to be a really good situation," Benkert said. "I remember being at a sports bar watching the team play Florida and we had just lost a heartbreaker. And I was just upset and depressed that I couldn't be out there to help them.
