We ran an out-of-bounds play for him, and he sticks a jump shot. ���I just feel good about him coming off the bench and scoring. He feels he belongs. What���s more important is the veteran guys feel, ���Come on in here; we need you.������ Austin Carr Honored As part of the 75th anniversary of the NCAA Men���s Basketball Champi- onship, the NCAA named the top�� 75 all-time March Madness players, with Irish legend Austin Carr (1968���71) making the list. Carr is Notre Dame���s all-time career scoring leader with 2,560 points and a 34.6 career scoring average. He ranks as the greatest scorer in NCAA Tournament history thanks to his 41.3 points-per-game career-scoring average in March games. Carr still holds the NCAA Tournament single-game scoring record with 61 points against Ohio University in 1970, one of six Big Dance marks he holds.
