f his career ended today, and former Notre
Dame quarterback Jarious Jackson has no plans
of hanging up his cleats
just yet, the 35-year-old
would be extremely
proud of his lengthy list
of accomplishments.
And you can now add a
third Grey Cup ring to
that list.
The Toronto Argonauts
beat the Calgary Stampeders 35-22 for the Canadian Football League
championship Nov. 25 at
the Rogers Centre in Toronto. Jackson completed
his only pass in the Grey
Cup, a one-yard touchdown to Dontrelle Inman
in the second quarter to
give the Argonauts a 24-6
advantage.
As Ricky Rays backup
in his first year with the
Argonauts, Jackson completed 72 of 135 passes
for 846 yards with four
touchdowns and three
interceptions. He also
produced 122 yards
and three scores on the
ground.
