The situation couldn���t have worked out better for Notre Dame. commitment profile greg bryant When the Irish coaching staff was mapping out a plan for the contact period following the regular-season ending victory against USC, it set its sights on the four-star prospect because of his ability to be a difference maker. Bryant���s father, Greg Sr., was immediately sold on the program after he and his son spoke almost daily with Tony Alford, Notre Dame���s primary recruiter for the Sunshine State. Once the younger Bryant had an opportunity to get to campus for an official visit during the football awards show weekend Dec. 7-9, everything came together. ���Coach Alford and I have a great relationship,��� the 5-11, 196-pound running back reported during an exclusive interview shortly after the visit concluded. ���I came up here this weekend and liked everything I saw. I���d be a fool not to take advantage of this great opportunity.��� Notre Dame���s plan was to have Bryant surrounded by Irish commits during the weekend ��� more than 10 Greg Bryant is rated by 247Sports as the No.�� 10 player in Florida, the nation���s No. 7 running back and the No. 47 overall recruit in the land. photo courtesy 247sports were on campus for the event ��� and it worked out in the program���s favor. ���I love all the guys in the class,��� he said. ���I got that vibe that I could go there, and we can all be close.
