football recruiting ROUNDUP is targeting an announcement at the Under Armour All-America Game Jan. 4. Tempe (Ariz.) Marcos de Niza cornerback Priest Willis has a top seven of Arizona State, Florida State, LSU, Nebraska, Notre Dame, UCLA and Virginia. He has already taken official visits to see the Seminoles, Tigers, Cornhuskers and Cavaliers, and has only one remaining official trip. He has canceled two trips to South Bend, and the Irish dont seem to be in a favorable position to get the last visit. Willis is rated as the top player in Arizona, the No. 3 cornerback in the land and the No. 27 overall prospect nationally by 247Sports. USC athlete commit Sebastian LaRue of Santa Monica, Calif., remains solid in his choice, but is keeping tabs on other programs just in case he plans on making a change late in the game with Notre Dame being one of the schools hes watching. He has had a conditional offer from the Irish since the spring, meaning hell need to show academic progress in order to update its status prior to taking a targeted official visit to Notre Dame Jan.25. The No. 10 player in California, No.6 athlete nationally and No. 122 overall prospect in the country, according to 247Sports, can contribute on either side of the ball. He will remain on the radar until he makes a decision. Tucker, Ga., three-star athlete Juwaan Williams, who is ranked as the No. 59 player in Georgia and the countrys No. 83 wide receiver by 247Sports, continues to receive visits from Notre Dame. Similar to Oregon, which is in his top two with the Irish, Notre Dame has discussed recruiting him as both a wide receiver and cornerback. Florida State and Vanderbilt are the other two schools that remain on Williams list, and he has an official visit lined up to see the Commodores on Jan. 18. He has yet to schedule a trip to Tallahassee, and he plans to announce his choice Jan. 28. Jason Sapp OFFICIAL VISIT LIST Sept. 22: Michigan RB Corey Clement committed to Wisconsin LB Michael Deeb committed TE Mike Heuerman committed WR Torii Hunter Jr. committed RB Jamel James committed DB Cole Luke committed DB L.J.
