You see what he did against Ohio State. You rooted for him and watched him when he was playing in college. You just kind of gas up the boy whenever he's around. He was rocking his little Michigan block 'M' shorts the other day, and I was pumping him up. It's just cool; it's just fun." — Former Michigan offensive lineman Taylor Lewan on former Wolverine running back and new Tennessee Titans teammate Hassan Haskins "They're kind of vibing off of me. I tell people all the time, by nature, where I'm from, you have to have an aggressiveness, you have to have a mentality that you're going to take it to them and not get hit in the mouth." — Co-defensive coordinator and defensive backs coach Steve Clinkscale on the Wolverines' secondary players "I feel blessed. I'm beyond ex- cited about every single day. I feel really good. My body feels great, so I'm making plays, and it's fun. … I've been thinking about playing a game for a year now. I'm ready to go." — Graduate wide receiver RONNIE BELL, who missed all but one half of football last season with an ACL injury and is slated to have 364 days in between appearances "There's tremendous syn- ergy between academics and athletics, and I want to do everything I can to make sure Michigan competes at the highest level." — University of Michigan president-elect Santa Ono, who will begin his term on Oct. 13, 2022 PHOTO BY PER KJELDSEN PHOTO BY LON HORWEDEL
