He returned it more than 100 yards to get two points back for the Irish. Feature Performer: Notre Dame's third safety, junior Luke Talich, made two outstanding plays of his own. On third-and-goal from the 5-yard line, Talich undercut a rub route and forced Heintschel to throw it away. On fourth- and-goal, he tackled Pitt redshirt senior wideout Raphael "Poppi" Williams just short of the pylon. Stats: Pitt went 0 of 3 on third downs and 1 of 2 on fourth downs.
