FASHION STATEMENT
During the first week of August, Notre Dame released an early look at
the uniforms it plans to wear against Arizona State at Cowboys Stadium
Oct. 5. The all-white ensemble is a slightly simpler look than the alternative uniforms the Irish have used at recent Shamrock Series games.
The helmets this season are almost entirely gold with a reflective gold
shamrock outlined in green on the side. They sparked far less controversy
and conversation than the uniforms from a year ago, a result of both the
slightly more conservative style and college football fans growing used to
the frequent wardrobe changes of their favorites teams.
