The latest on Leaf: He has already taken visits at San Diego State, UCLA and Indiana in addition to Michigan for the Notre Dame football weekend. Though he loved the U-M visit and the Wolverines' facilities, Leaf appears to favoring Indiana. His dad grew up in the area, he has family there and he has told reporters "it will be hard to say no" to the Hoosiers. Caleb Swanigan, C 6-8, 280, Fort Wayne (Ind.) Homestead Rivals.com Ranking: No. 31 recruit in the class of 2015. Notable Offers: Ohio State, Tennessee and MSU. The latest on Swanigan: A Michigan camper, Swanigan has soft hands and a nice touch for a big guy. He didn't seem to have the energy needed to compete at the highest level when we saw him play — but keep in mind he's only a sophomore. He had dominant performances on the AAU circuit this summer, and he'll be even better if and when he rounds into better shape. He's not the most athletic player in this class, though, so his upside is limited. Eron Gordon, SG 6-2, 170, Indianapolis North Central Rivals.com Ranking: No. 32 prospect in the class of 2015. Notable Offers: Indiana and Purdue. The latest on Gordon: Some believe Gordon is a lock to follow in older brother Eric Gordon's footsteps and go to Indiana, but Michigan has been tracking him since eighth grade. U‑M assistant Jeff Meyer has plenty of experience with the family, including coaching Gordon's dad. Gordon is humble and hardworking, and hopes to play some point guard at the next level. He and his family have been in frequent contact with U‑M. Cassius Winston, PG 6-0, 165, Detroit U-D Jesuit Rivals.com Ranking: No. 35 overall sophomore nationally. Notable Offer: Michigan State. The latest on Winston: Another U-M camper, Winston averaged 17.5 points, 7.2 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 4.0 steals per game while leading his high school team to a Detroit Catholic School League championship as a freshman in 2012-13. "He sees the floor as well as anybody I've seen in high school basketball, and I've been around the game for a long time," U-D Jesuit coach Pat Donnelly said.
