Three Former Greats To Be Inducted Into Hall
In February, football's Mark Messner,
basketball's Gary
Grant and track/
cross country's Katie McGregor will
be inducted into
the Michigan Hall
of Honor, the three
representing the
2014 class.
"Katie, Gary and
Mark excelled in
their respec tive
sports at the University of Michigan
and are successful and supportive
alumni," Michigan
athletics director
Dave Brandon said.
"All three dominated in the Big
Ten Conference
and achieved at
an extremely high
level on the national level, earning first-team AllAmerica honors.
We look forward
to honoring them
with their formal
induction into the
Hall of Honor later
this academic year."
One of only two
Wolverines in
Mark Messner is one of only two U-M football players to earn firstschool history (ofteam All-Big Ten honors four times.
