Champions • Former U-M tennis standouts Jason Jung (2008-11) and Evan King (2010-13) won four matches to claim the doubles title at the ITF Pro Circuit Tevlin Futures Tournament Sept. 13. Jung and King defeated the tandem of Milan Pokrajac and Peter Polansky 7-5, 6-2 in the final. Hired • First-year men's track and field coach Jerry Clayton has added Steve Rajewsky to his staff to coach the sprint and hurdle events. A University of St. Thomas grad, Rajewsky spent the past six seasons coaching the men's and women's sprint and hurdle athletes at Kent State, helping the Golden Flashes to eight Mid-American Conference titles, including four women's outdoor and three women's indoor championships. "We are excited about the addition of Steve to our track and field program," Clayton said in a release. "He understands the team concept of track and field and has aided in seven conference championships during his career. He has experience in the Big Ten Conference and has had great success with the development of student-athletes under his tutelage. "I am excited about Steve's passion and goals as they align with the University of Michigan track and field team in terms of moving this program forward."
