Senior Season: Started at linebacker for a De La Salle team that went 5-4, losing to Macomb Dakota, 19-14, in the first round of the Division I playoffs … Suffered a shoulder injury that forced him to miss the final game of the season … Racked up 46 total tackles (nine solo and 37 assisted), three tackles for loss, two interceptions, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery … Caught 19 passes for 207 yards (10.9 yards per catch) and one score … Recorded a season- high 13 tackles, forced and recovered a fumble, and caught five passes for 30 yards in a 20-14 loss to Detroit Catholic Central … Named to the Detroit Free Press All-State Dream Team … Earned first-team All-Metro East honors from the Detroit Free Press and the Detroit News. Junior Season: Started at safety for a De La Salle team that went 9-3, failing to qualify for the state playoffs … Notched 45 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, one sack and one forced fumble … Hauled in five catches for 62 yards (12.4 yards per catch). Sophomore Season: Played safety for a Pilots team that went 9-3, losing to Cass Tech, 6-0, in the regional finals of the state playoffs … Made 24 tackles. ALL-STAR GAMES AND CAMPS Invited to the Under Armour All-American Game, attended but did not partici- pate because of lingering issues from a shoulder injury … Attended the 2013 Ohio Nike Training Camp … Attended the 2012 and 2013 Michigan football camp … Attended the 2013 Sound Mind Sound Body Camp. OTHER SPORTS Played basketball for the Pilots for three years, but will not play this year be- cause of the shoulder injury … Averaged seven points and five rebounds per game in 2013.
