COMMITMENT PROFILE lay a big hit against receivers or in the run game. "There aren't a whole lot of corners at his size who are as fluid and quick as he is," Turner said. "With the size of wide receivers these days, it's hard to do some of the things that defenses want to do if you don't have corners who can match up physically with wide receivers of that size. "It's not just the length and the quickness, but he also can come up. He can force against the run. That mix of skills is just remarkable. You add to that the intelligence — he's just a stu- dent of the game — and there's just not many guys walking around with that combination." Taylor turned his physical skills into an excellent junior year on the field. While most opponents avoided him in the passing game, preventing him from racking up big stats he still man- aged to bring home first-team Divi- sion I all-state honors in the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Associa- tion, a private school league that saw him face off against future teammate Wilton Speight (the former quarter- back at Richmond Collegiate School and an early enrollee at Michigan). He was also named to the Richmond Times-Dispatch All-Metro squad, which included players form public and pri- vate schools His work ethic and leadership are impressive as well — he pioneered a new offseason strength training regi- men for his team as a sophomore — and should help him see plenty of suc- cess at Michigan. — Tim Sullivan 1-800-421-7751 • www.TheWolverineOnDemand.com Michigan Wall Clock This Michigan football-theme clock features a high-quality quartz movement that has been tested for accuracy, so you'll never have to worry about being late to the stadium! • Turf-accented rim • Vivid "Block M" logo and graphics • Accurate quartz movement • Requires one AA battery (not included) • Measures approximately 10.5" in diameter • Made of durable plastic • Officially licensed collegiate product • Printed in the U.S.A. $21 95 plus $7.50 S&H Tax (NC 7.5%, IN 7%, MI 6%) Item #1404 SALE!
