MICHIGAN FOOTBALL missed roughly a week of spring practices, returning to the field after serving his suspension and partici- pating in the annual spring game. "Each of our young men under- stands the standard we expect of them," Hoke said in the statement. "It's one that represents this great program and university, as well as their family and teammates. When their actions don't reflect that stan- dard, it's very disappointing, and we must hold them accountable for their decision while helping them learn a valuable life lesson." At his regular media availabili- ties during spring practice, Hoke declined to elaborate on Glasgow's suspension, other than to say the vet- eran has responded well and that it is a teaching moment for Glasgow and the rest of the team. After walking onto the team be- fore the 2011 season, Glasgow earned a scholarship in the summer of last year, when it became clear that he would be a starter. As a redshirt sophomore in 2013, Glasgow started all 13 games. He began the season at left guard, mak- ing four starts there before a lineup switch moved him inside to center, Glasgow, a redshirt junior offensive lineman, was suspended for a portion of spring football and the game versus Appalachian State Aug. 30 for a "violation of team expectations," according to a statement released by Michigan head coach Brady Hoke.
