The Wol- verines passed the 1997-98 and 1991-92 crews, which scored 2,630 and 2,647 points, respectively. • During the game, Stauskas passed the 600-point threshold on the season, becoming only the 21st Wolverine to have recorded such a total in one year. • Michigan's 75-72 loss to Kentucky in the Midwest Regional championship game left the Wolverines 28-9 on the season. That's the second-highest victory total in a season under Beilein, after last year's 31-8 record. Michigan's 59 wins combined over the past two seasons represent the most in any two-year span in the history of the program. U-M's 1991-92 and 1992-93 crews combined for 56 victories. • U-M is now 51-24 all time in NCAA Tournament play, 10-5 under Beilein and 7-6 in the Elite Eight. Michigan's four straight tournament appearances mark the program's longest streak since the Wolverines went to five straight from 1992-96. • Michigan dropped to 2-5 in the all-time series against Kentucky. The two teams had not met since the Wolverines knocked off the Wildcats 81-78 in an overtime win in the national semifinals at New Orleans in 1993. • The Wolverines finished the year averaging 9.3 turnovers per game. That's the best mark ever at Michigan. U-M also finished with 319 three-pointers on the year, also a school record. • U-M wound up scoring 2,736 points on the year. The Wolverines ranked as the No. 7 scoring team ever at Michigan. • Morgan finished as the best single-season and career percentage shooter in the history of the program. He shot 70.0 percent (98 of 140) on the year, and 63.1 percent (419 of 664) over the course of his career. He passed former Wol- verine Maceo Baston on both lists, Baston shooting 62.67 percent in his career and 68.16 percent in 1995-96. • Stauskas passed up Louis Bullock for the distinction of having made the most three-pointers in a two-year span for the Wolverines. The sophomore connected on 172 three balls in his two seasons in Ann Arbor. • Stauskas scored 1,080 points in two Michigan seasons, good for 43rd on the Wolverines' all-time scoring list. • Morgan played in a Michigan-record 142 games over the course of his career. His start against Kentucky third him for third on Michigan's all-time list with Zack Novak. • Stauskas and LeVert each made the Midwest Regional All-Tournament Team.
