Wrestling: For the third consecutive season, the Wolverines are welcoming what many consider to be one of the best recruiting classes in the country to Ann Arbor. According to InterMat, Michigan has the No. 10 class in the 2014-15 recruit- ing cycle. Last season, Michigan ranked No. 1 nationally in InterMat's rankings. The year before, the team's current sophomores were ranked as the No. 7 class nationally by InterMat. Along with Davonte Mahomes and Zac Hall, the Wolverines signed Malik Amine of Detroit Catholic Central, the No. 20 prospect in the 145-pound divi- sion according to InterMat. Amine is a two-time Michigan state champion (140 pounds in 2013 and 145 pounds in 2014). Zehlin Storr of Leslie High School in Mason, Mich., is a two-time Michigan state champion (135 pounds in 2013 and 140 pounds in 2014). He is ranked as the No. 97 overall prospect and the No. 14 wrestler in the 138-pound division. Garrett Sutton of Burton High School in Richmond, Ill., is the No. 100 overall prospect and the No. 11 wrestler in the 160-pound division according to In- terMat. He is a two-time Illinois state champion (152 pounds in 2013 and 160 pounds in 2014). Alec Pantaleo of Canton (Mich.) High School won the 135-pound state title in 2012 and was a two-time finalist in the 145-pound division the last two years. As of May 9, the Wolverines had received a commitment — but not yet pa- pers — from Richard Sisti of Monsignor High School in Staten Island, N.Y. Sisti is listed as the No. 13 prospect in the 220-pound division by InterMat and closed out his high school career on a 67-match winning streak, including the last two state championships in his weight class. — Andy Reid
