Megan Kim, golf: Before head coach Jan Dowling was introduced in the spring of 2013, Kim pledged to play for the Michigan golf team. And that shows just how committed Kim is to the school and program, and not just who recruited her. "I'm very honored and proud to be a Wolverine," Kim said. "I'm looking forward to carrying on the champi- onship pride of Michigan." Kim, who is from Redondo Beach, Calif., was a two-time captain of the Mira Costa High School golf team. In 2013, she competed in five Toyota Tour Cup tournaments, placing first at the event in Santa Ana, Calif., in July and fifth in the Series Champi- onship last December following the conclusion of her senior year of high school.
