if he'd be the same when he returned,
but he proved to be just as reliable as
ever when he came back.
His rehab didn't help him escape
the bad luck, though. Hall tore his left
Achilles against the Detroit Lions last
year, but his recovery with Bengals di-
rector of rehab Nick Cosgray has him
on the brink of returning by the middle
of June.
"Probably a couple of months ago, I
realized that my right one was ahead
just kind of comparing what I was do-
ing at a certain point in the rehab with
my other one a couple years ago," Hall
told Bengals.com May 5. "We were
probably a couple of weeks ahead,
which after talking it over with Nick
we slowed down a little bit because we
felt like there's really no rush.
"I hurt my right one earlier in the
season, so technically I have three
more weeks of time, so we're trying
to utilize the extra three weeks and
just make sure that everything is going
smoothly."
Hall played in four full games and
started another before getting hurt last
year, finishing the abbreviated season
with 20 tackles (14 solo), five passes
