"I will probably narrow things down toward the end of the summer and at the beginning of my senior year look to take some visits," he said. He added that Ohio State, South Carolina, North Carolina, Michigan, Georgetown, Georgia Tech and Kansas are recruiting him the hardest. He was averaging 4.1 points per game while shooting 33.3 percent from three- point range and 31.4 percent overall through eight games as of May 11, but Michigan has been in to watch him and continues to track him. "I have quite a bit of Big Ten and Atlantic-10 schools looking at me," he said. "I'll probably make a decision after this summer — I've been talking to Michigan for a quite a bit now. It's amazing over there." U-M could be tough to beat with an offer, but Ahrens will have to work to earn one.
