2014 BASKETBALL RECRUITING ISSUE It's his sweet shooting touch, though, that have many convinced he'd be a natural in the Michigan offense. He was in attendance for the Wolverines' win over Michigan State in February. "Coach [Jeff] Meyer has been to a couple of my open gyms, and Coach [John] Beilein to a game or two this season," he said. "I really like the coaching staff and loved the atmosphere there. The arena was really nice, and it was really cool to see it like that." Teske has visited in-state schools Dayton and Xavier, as well. He will very likely receive a U-M offer June 15, at which point it could come down to another Buckeyes-Wolver- ines battle. "That was a pretty big deal," Teske said of his OSU offer. "My dad grew up in Cleveland. He's al- ways been an Ohio State fan, and we've watched every sport they play. "Even though I'm an Ohio State fan, I'm a Michigan fan, too. We lived in Michigan for 10 years." Outlook: Though there's no time- table for a decision, it's clear both the Wolverines and Buckeyes will be players until the end. "It would come down to picking which one is best for me, I guess," he said if it ultimately did end up a battle of rivals. "I really like both of them. I don't really have a list of leaders, but Michigan is definitely on the top. Ohio State is up there, too." The Wolverines have a great chance to keep that pipeline going with Towns, a still-budding power for- ward with a sweet stroke. Towns visited Michigan for an eighth time in early May, so the in- terest is serious. He camped at U-M last summer and has forged a rela- tionship with big man coach Bacari Alexander.
