  COMMITMENT PROFILE When Michigan missed on the na- tion's top-ranked pro-style quarter- back, five-star UCLA commitment Josh Rosen of Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco, and a couple other highly ranked prospects in the class of 2015, the staff took a step back and decided to evaluate every prospect in the na- tion before choosing which one they'd offer. A coast-to-coast search proved that the best option was right in their back- yard. Bloomfield Hills (Mich.) Brother Rice signal-caller Alex Malzone picked up his Michigan offer May 12 — and immediately committed. "Ever since Coach [Doug] Nuss- meier went to Michigan, we've started to build a great relationship," Malzone said. "I know he's had a lot of success wherever he's been. That's definitely appealing to me. Alex Malzone Is Michigan's Man At Quarterback Malzone completed 190 of 281 passes (67.6 percent) as a junior, throwing for 2,795 yards and 25 touchdowns while leading Bloomfield Hills (Mich.)
