MICHIGAN RECRUITING targets is Orange (Calif.) Lutheran four-star Keisean Lucier-South. He's a weakside defensive end, and has enough explosive pass-rushing force off the edge to be the No. 2 player na- tionally at that position, and No. 35 overall across all positions. UCLA and Michigan are on his final list of five schools along with Oklahoma, Ore- gon and Florida. He plans to take of- ficial visits to all five — though the only scheduled so far is to Ann Arbor Oct. 11 for the night game against Penn State — before further paring down the list. Salt Lake City Brighton outside linebacker Osa Masina has also nar- rowed things to five remaining pro- grams, and there's coincidentally some overlap with Lucier-South's. The 6-3, 231-pounder is still considering Michi- gan along with Arizona State, UCLA, USC and Wisconsin. The top player in Utah and the No. 3 outside linebacker and No. 58 overall player in the nation has surprisingly trimmed the home- town Utes from his list, despite two brothers — Loi and Uaea — who suit up for Utah. That's a major opening for Michigan. Masina will take official visits before cutting it down again. Indianapolis Ben Davis outside linebacker Asmar Bilal has made his top group the narrowest of the bunch: only Michigan and Notre Dame are still standing for the 6-3, 196-pounder. Bilal, the No. 30 outside linebacker na- tionally and the No. 3 overall player in Indiana, has no immediate plans to de- cide between the Irish and Wolverines, but a college commitment could come the instant he's ready. It hasn't been all good news for U-M when it comes to top prospects. Berea (Ky.) Madison Southern five-star run- ning back Damien Harris committed Class Of 2015 Football Commitments Name Pos. Ht. Wt.
