M ichigan fans screaming "Go Blue" the night of Oct. 11 will have more reason than ever to do so. The Wolverines will be adorned in blue jerseys and blue pants for the showdown against Penn State at Michigan Stadium. Michigan revealed on Aug. 8 the design for the alternate "Go Blue" TECHFIT uniforms by adidas. Wol- verines' fifth-year senior Jake Ryan and others inside Schembechler Hall gave input into the design, which will be on display in U-M's lone home night game this season. The Wolverines have never before come out in all blue before, but it's technically not a head-to-toe blue look. That's because their toes and the rest of their feet will be adorned with bright maize shoes. In addition, the jersey and pants bear metallic blue stripes that are said to shine under the lights. The stripes are also embedded in the jer- sey numbers, while the jerseys also feature a block "M" on the bicep and "GO BLUE" across the chest. This marks the sixth time Michigan has featured an alternate uniform for a chosen game in conjunction with adidas. The Wolverines went with three such altered looks during the 2011 season, versus Notre Dame, Michigan State and in the Sugar Bowl against Virginia Tech; in the 2012 Kickoff Classic against Ala- bama; and in the 2013 Outback Bowl   MICHIGAN FOOTBALL Michigan To Change Up Uniforms For Night Game The Wolverines will be adorned in blue jerseys and blue pants for the night-game showdown against Penn State, Oct. 11 at Michigan Stadium.
