BASKETBALL RECRUITING BY CHRIS BALAS M ichigan basketball now has one class of 2016 pledge in Medina, Ohio, big man Jon Teske (6‑11, 220, Rivals.com three‑star prospect), but is still looking for its first class of 2015 commitment. Williams College shoot‑ ing guard transfer Duncan Robinson (6‑7½, 200) will have to sit out a year, giving him sophomore eligibility in 2015‑16 and essentially making him part of the 2014 class, and it's fathom‑ able that U‑M coaches won't take a true 2015 prospect. It's also possible they will. There are still a few on the board, and those who are arranging visits should be considered the most serious targets. For now, it's a list of one — Columbia (S.C.) Spring Valley shooting guard P.J. Dozier (6‑6, 200, Rivals.com's No. 40 senior prospect nationally). Dozier sat out last year with a knee injury, but he's playing better than his ranking, Rivals.com analyst Eric Bossi reported recently, and will likely move up. "A tall and skilled guard, Dozier looks to be pretty close to 100 percent with the rehab of his surgically re‑ paired knee," Bossi wrote. "He found great confidence in July as both a play‑ maker and scorer. Given the tools and skill he has to go with his size, he is currently under‑ranked." Rankings have never mattered to head coach John Beilein and his staff. It's about fit, and they believe Dozier would be a good one. He'll likely re‑ ceive an offer when he officially visits Sept. 26. Louisville, Georgetown, North Car‑ olina and South Carolina join U‑M on his visit list. Because the Doziers have been so concerned about who they'd visit, they aren't certain yet if they'll sign in November or April, Dozier's father, Perry Dozier, said in early August. Many have speculated North Caro‑ lina is the strong leader, and Dozier has said in the past that UNC is his dream school. To say the Tar Heels are on top, though, is "very unfair," Perry   BASKETBALL RECRUITING Michigan Is Arranging Visits Columbia (S.C.) Spring Valley shooting guard P.J.
