Shane Morris — The lefty be- came only the sixth U-M true fresh- man since 1972 to start a game under center when he commanded the hud- dle against Kansas State in the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl. His 63.2-percent completion rate was U-M's second- best mark by a rookie signal-caller in his first start, behind only Tate Forcier (65.0 percent against Western Michi- gan in 2009). 4. Kyle Bosch — The 6-5, 303- pounder took over the left guard post early in the first quarter against In- diana and then held the starting job each of the next three weeks against Michigan State, Nebraska and North- western. He is only the fifth offensive lineman in program history to start as a true freshman and joins only Dean Dingman (three starts in 1987) to start more than one game.
