David Dawson OL 4 Comment: Practiced at guard and tackle in the spring and could be the top backup lineman for both positions this fall if he doesn't start. Reon Dawson CB 3 Comment: Long, athletic cornerback is likely a year or two away from competing for a starting job, but has shown promise. Ross Douglas RB 4 Comment: Moved to tailback in the spring to shore up depth concerns and could eventually develop into a change-of-pace ball carrier. Jaron Dukes WR 3 Comment: Possesses great size at 6-4, 197 pounds, but is buried on a depth chart growing with every new recruiting class. Chris Fox OL 4 Comment: Another lineman that has not settled into one position yet, but is still projected to be a force once he clears up some injury issues. Ben Gedeon LB 4 Comment: An unexpected surprise in 2013, playing more minutes late in the year, he is expected to be the top reserve at middle linebacker. Derrick Green RB 5 Comment: Locked in a three-man race to be Michigan's week-one starter at tail- back. Delano Hill S 4 Comment: Has leapfrogged teammates to be the frontrunner at strong safety, but must fend off five-star rookie Jabrill Peppers. Khalid Hill TE 3 Comment: Possesses an opportunity to earn playing time with depth at tight end a concern, but appears to be no better than third in the pecking order. Maurice Hurst Jr. DT 3 Comment: Among a handful of Wolverines competing to start at nose tackle this season. Da'Mario Jones WR 3 Comment: Did some good things behind the scenes last year and will have a chance to play if he can beat out two or three teammates. Patrick Kugler OC 4 Comment: Still looks to be the future at center, but must unseat incumbent Gra- ham Glasgow for that future to begin in 2014.
