Michigan Adds Washington, Working On Another Non-Conference Foe Michigan continues to bolster its non- conference football slate following the conclusion of the Notre Dame series. This summer, the Wolverines added Oklahoma for a home-and-home in 2025-26 after scheduling games with a number of other significant non- conference foes. On Aug. 20, Michigan athletics director David Brandon added to it in announcing a 2020-21 home- and-home with Washington. "We are excited to rekindle a rivalry that has showcased some great games and great teams for both programs," Michigan head coach Brady Hoke said. "There have been some exciting, down- to-the-wire football games between Michigan and Washington, and we an- ticipate the same type of contests when this series is played at the outset of the next decade." The Wolverines and Huskies have al- ready met 12 times, including four Rose Bowls. Michigan is 7-5 all time in the se- ries and 2-2 in the Granddaddy of Them All, the last a 38-31 victory in 1993 in which Tyrone Wheatley rushed for 235 yards and three touchdowns.
